Romans 5:3-5  - “3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience, and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”

Family, troubles in this life are guaranteed and that is regardless of what side of the faith in Jesus Christ line you stand on.

   Have you ever felt abandoned, betrayed or hurt by those who are close to you?

  Jesus experienced what it's like to be abandoned. The people closest to him left him during the most difficult time of his life. Let's read the record on how Jesus dealt with being deserted and left to die alone on the cross.

Let me address that Jesus here is speaking to the disciples during the last supper when he makes this...

  Perhaps you grew up in a household that held to christian values. Go with the family to church on a holiday, briefly pray in moments of anxiety, listen to some k-love on a Sunday and think of yourself as a decent human being.

  This was me for all my years into my young adult life. I claimed christianity, sometimes even Catholicism...admittedly I never knew the difference....
